Job Summary

The Vice President of Human Resources will be responsible for spearheading the Learning and Development (L&D) initiatives, HR analytics strategies, and various HR projects. This role is crucial in enhancing the organizational culture and employee engagement while contributing to the overall effectiveness of the HR department.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive Learning and Development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Oversee HR analytics to provide insights and data-driven decision-making to improve HR strategies and workforce planning.
  • Manage multiple HR projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and enhancing employee experience.
  • Supervise a dedicated team of 3-4 HR professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices within the HR function.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 11-19 years of relevant experience in HR, specifically within the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, Asset Management) sector.
  • Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) will be an advantage.
  • Skills:
    • Strong expertise in Learning and Development methodologies.
    • Proficiency in HR analytics tools and techniques.
    • Excellent project management skills.
    • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of labor laws and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in a managerial role within a Financial Services organization.
  • Familiarity with digital HR initiatives and technological advancements in HR practices.

Experience

A minimum of 11 years of experience in HR leadership roles, particularly within the Banking or Financial Services sectors.
