Design Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a Design Lead with a strong background in B2C startups to join our team in Gurugram (GGN). The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of experience in design leadership roles, demonstrating expertise in driving design strategies and delivering user-centric solutions. This role is pivotal in shaping the visual and experiential aspects of our products, contributing directly to the company’s growth and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the design team to create innovative and effective design solutions.
• Develop and implement design strategies aligned with business goals and user needs.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive product development.
• Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for B2C applications.
• Ensure consistency and quality across all design outputs and maintain brand integrity.
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into the design process.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-6 years of professional experience in design roles, preferably within B2C startups.
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in fast-paced startup environments.
• Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Ability to analyze user data and feedback to inform design decisions.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
