Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Relationship Manager (RM) to join our Small Enterprises (SE) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and managing a portfolio of clients with a turnover of up to ₹100 Cr. This role demands maintaining portfolio hygiene and actively engaging in cross-selling financial products, thus contributing to the organization's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition (NTB): Source new-to-bank (NTB) clients in the small enterprise segment. Identify opportunities through market intelligence, references, and industry networking.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage and strengthen relationships with the existing client portfolio. Engage regularly with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Credit Note Preparation: Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed credit notes for both new and existing clients. Evaluate risks and structure proposals in line with the bank’s credit policies.
  • Sanction Process & Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal credit teams for discussions and approvals of proposals. Effectively communicate with clients to understand their financial needs and ensure alignment with product offerings.
  • Portfolio Hygiene: Ensure timely renewals, limit compliance, documentation, and monitoring of early warning signals. Maintain high asset quality and minimize delinquencies.
  • Cross-Selling: Identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities across products such as trade finance, treasury, cash management, insurance, and working capital solutions.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in corporate, Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), or Micro enterprises (ME) banking.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of credit analysis and financial statements.
    • Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
    • Proven ability to drive business and manage risks effectively.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with various financial products and services.
  • Strong networking skills with industry stakeholders.

Experience

5+ years of relevant experience in corporate/SME/ME banking.
