of PCR. Banyan is looking for an entrepreneurial and dynamic candidate to lead this transformation.<br />
Position Overview:<br />
We are seeking an ambitious, data driven and results oriented Senior Quality Manager with a proven track record to lead and<br />
enhance the quality management processes across our supply chain. The ideal candidate will ensure that all supply chain<br />
activities—from sourcing to distribution—meet the highest quality standards, supporting our commitment to sustainability and<br />
excellence. This role focuses on reducing contamination in procured materials, minimizing losses throughout the procurement<br />
value chain, and ensuring consistent quality standards. The Senior Quality Manager will also develop supplier quality ratings<br />
and collaborate with all stakeholders across the value chain to enhance quality practices among all partners, both formal and<br />
informal.<br />
Key Responsibilities:<br />
• Overall Quality Improvement:<br />
o Lead initiatives to reduce contamination levels in procured materials at a SKU level.<br />
o Identify and address losses across the procurement value chain, including weighment losses, transit losses,<br />
and inspection/sorting losses.<br />
o Implement best practices and continuous improvement strategies to enhance quality throughout the supply<br />
chain.<br />
• Quality Control:<br />
o Ensure the accuracy of inspection and sorting processes at hubs, third-party sites, and Points of Sale (PoS).<br />
o Develop and maintain rigorous quality control standards to prevent material defects and losses.<br />
o Regularly audit quality control processes and implement corrective actions as needed<br />
• Quality Process Implementation:<br />
o Develop and implement standardized quality check processes across the entire supply chain.<br />
o Ensure consistent application of quality procedures at all touchpoints, from procurement to final delivery.<br />
o Train and mentor teams on quality standards and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous<br />
improvement.<br />
• Supplier Quality Ratings:<br />
o Develop a supplier quality rating system to evaluate and improve supplier performance.<br />
o Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure suppliers meet quality expectations and drive continuous<br />
improvement.<br />
o Regularly review and update supplier ratings based on performance and quality metrics<br />
• Reporting and Documentation:<br />
o Prepare and present regular quality performance reports to senior management.<br />
o Maintain comprehensive documentation of all quality control and assurance activities.<br />
o Ensure accurate record-keeping for compliance and audit purposes</div>

<div>• Cross-Functional Collaboration:<br />
o Work closely with procurement, production, logistics and distribution teams to integrate quality standards<br />
into daily operations.<br />
o Provide training and guidance to teams on quality best practices and standards.<br />
o Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to ensure new products meet quality expectations<br />
from the outset.<br />
Qualifications and Requirements:<br />
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.<br />
• 10+ years of experience in quality control, with at least 3 years in a supply chain operations management role.<br />
• Proven experience in quality control, quality process design and implementation, and stakeholder management.<br />
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.<br />
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.<br />
• Ready to Travel within the region as needed and should be comfortable with field work as and when required.<br />
Preferred Candidates:<br />
• Proven track record in managing the Quality in industries like – Manufacturing, FMCG, Agriculture, F&B, Retail, Sales &<br />
Marketing, E-commerce/Quick Commerce or Supply Chain.<br />
• Certification in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) or Six Sigma, LEAN Management is a plus.<br />
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive process improvements and manage teams effectively.<br />
