Job Title: Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)
Company: Dalmia Polypro Location: Mumbai / Nariman Point (Corporate Office) with travel to Nasik & Vapi

Dalmia Polypro is a growing player in the plastics and packaging manufacturing space. Originally a family-run business, the organization is now transitioning into a more structured and professionally managed setup.
With a current workforce of ~500–600 employees and plans to double in scale, the company is entering a high-growth phase and is focused on building robust systems, processes, and leadership capabilities.
Role Overview
The organization is looking for a dynamic and hands-on CHRO to lead its HR transformation journey. This role will be instrumental in building the HR function from the ground up, driving organizational structure, and enabling scalable growth.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in manufacturing environments and have a proven ability to set up HR processes, systems, and teams in evolving organizations.
Key Responsibilities

HR Function Setup & Transformation
Build and scale the HR function from a lean team (currently 4–5 members) to support organizational growth Establish HR frameworks, policies, and standard operating procedures across locations Drive digitization and process excellence within HR

Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning
Develop manpower planning strategies aligned with the company’s growth plans Lead hiring initiatives across plant and corporate roles Build a strong employer brand within the manufacturing ecosystem

Organizational Development
Design and implement organization structures for scalability Drive performance management systems and succession planning Enable leadership development across levels

Plant HR & Operations
Oversee HR operations across manufacturing units in Nasik and Vapi Ensure strong industrial relations and compliance Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives at plant locations

Culture & Change Management
Support the transition from a family-run business to a professionally managed organization Embed a high-performance, accountable, and growth-oriented culture
Candidate Profile
Experience: Up to 15 years of HR experience
Strong background in manufacturing / industrial organizations
Proven experience in setting up or scaling HR functions
Hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally
Exposure to multi-location workforce management (plants + corporate)
Strong stakeholder management skills, especially in promoter-driven environments
