Job Summary

This is a highly entrepreneurial position reporting directly to the CEO. The role will require the candidate to assume multiple responsibilities, contributing significantly to the company’s product vision and overall success.

Responsibilities

• Co-own the product vision and roadmap with the CEO, ensuring each release is tied to a clear business or user win.
• Engage with users weekly, including blue-collar workers, recruiters, and employers, to convert insights into quick, iterative product launches.
• Build and coach a small but effective team of Product Managers, designers, and data professionals.
• Actively participate in product development processes, demonstrating a hands-on approach to guiding the team.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Operations teams to achieve revenue, retention, and Net Promoter Score (NPS) goals.
• Maintain a balance between quick shipping of Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and developing long-term architectural plans.

  • A builder's mindset with experience in launching 0-to-1 products and scaling them rapidly.
  • A strong obsession with the craft of product development, demonstrating deep empathy for users.
  • A profound sense of curiosity and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams effectively.

• Should-Haves:

  • Over 10 years of experience in product management, including leadership of a small team of Product Managers.
  • Proven experience in coaching or developing team members who reported directly to you.
  • A successful history of growing a product by 10X or more.
  • Hands-on experience with operationally intensive businesses.
  • Experience in early-stage startups (Series A-D) or a founder background.
  • Familiarity with building products targeting the "Bharat" market or next-billion users before.
  • Experience in developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) based products.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in working within a fast-paced startup environment.
• Previous involvement in product strategies targeting large user bases, particularly in emerging markets.

Experience
