Job Summary

The ROR Lead will play a critical role in developing and managing applications using Ruby on Rails or Python/Django. This position requires solid frontend skills and expertise in AWS, contributing to the team's success through technical leadership and project oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of web applications using Ruby on Rails or Python/Django.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of features and functionality.
• Architect and optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability on AWS.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers on best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge among team members.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues as they arise.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails or Python/Django for backend development.
• Strong frontend skills with experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture.
• Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented setting.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with React or Angular for frontend development.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Capability in writing unit and integration tests.

Experience

• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in web application development.

Environment

The role involves working in either Chennai or Bengaluru offices with a hybrid working model that includes 2 days in the office.

Salary

Estimated salary is 1.6 L (Lakh).
