Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced SAP Sales Manager to drive SAP product and service sales across Indian and global markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in SAP license sales, implementation projects, excellent technical knowledge across SAP modules, and a proven ability to generate revenue and meet or exceed sales targets. This is an individual contributor role requiring hands-on end-to-end sales execution and strategic account management.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end SAP sales cycle including lead generation, solution presentation, proposal development, and deal closure.
  • Generate new business opportunities and grow existing accounts in both Indian and global markets.
  • Strong focus on SAP licensing sales and implementation projects – including negotiating, structuring, and closing licensing deals.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Engage with key decision-makers (CIOs, CTOs, CFOs) to understand business needs and align SAP solutions accordingly.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate and effective solution proposals.
  • Track industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports, pipeline updates, and forecasts.

Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of experience in SAP sales with a strong focus on SAP licensing and implementation projects.
  • Proven experience in handling both domestic (India) and international clients.
  • Deep technical understanding of SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to meet/exceed sales targets as an individual contributor.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Skills

  • SAP certifications or relevant technical training.
  • Experience working with SAP partners or system integrators.

Experience

  • 8–15 years of relevant experience is required, particularly in SAP sales, with a focus on government and public enterprise sectors.

Environment

  • Location options include Bangalore and Delhi. The work environment may involve travel as required for client engagement.
