Job Description Position: Manager – Accounts Payable, Banking, Treasury & TDS Location: Hyderabad Reports to: Finance Controller Role Overview The Manager – AP, Banking, Treasury & TDS will be responsible for end-to-end management of accounts payable, vendor payments, treasury operations, banking activities, and compliance related to TDS (Tax Deducted at Source). The role requires a Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA with strong technical knowledge, analytical ability, and proven team management skills. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable • Oversee end-to-end AP process including invoice processing, approvals, payment scheduling, and vendor reconciliations. • Implement controls to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies. • Manage vendor relationships and resolve escalations. • Monitor aging reports and ensure timely clearance of liabilities. Banking & Treasury • Manage banking operations including fund transfers, bank reconciliations, and relationship management with banks. • Prepare daily/weekly cash flow statements and ensure optimal utilization of funds. • Monitor working capital, short-term investments, and borrowing facilities. • Ensure compliance with internal controls around cash and treasury activities. TDS & Compliance • Ensure timely deduction, deposit, and reporting of TDS in compliance with Income Tax Act. • Oversee TDS return filings, reconciliations, and issue of Form 16A/26Q certificates. • Monitor changes in tax laws and implement necessary process updates. • Coordinate with auditors and consultants for tax assessments and statutory audits. Team Management & Process Excellence • Lead, mentor, and develop the AP, treasury, and compliance teams. • Drive automation, process improvements, and strengthen internal controls. • Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, finance, and business teams. Qualifications & Experience • Chartered Accountant (CA)/MBA with 4–7 years of post-qualification experience in AP, treasury, and taxation. • Strong understanding of banking, treasury operations, and tax compliance (TDS). • Prior experience in SAP preferred. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Experience in managing teams and vendor relationships.
