Software Development Engineer 3

Job Summary

The Software Development Engineer 3 will be responsible for gathering user requirements, developing software solutions, and ensuring the functionality and quality of software systems. This role contributes to the organization’s goals by producing efficient code and maintaining high standards in software development.

Responsibilities

• Gather user requirements and develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
• Produce high-level and low-level designs and determine operational feasibility.
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback.
• Participate in code reviews, acting as a gatekeeper for design and code quality.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial experience in software development, with a significant focus on .NET development and experience in developing back-ends and microservices.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to produce clean and concise code that is maintainable by team members.
• Proficient in ASP.NET and C# frameworks.
• Working knowledge of source control systems (Git), including branching, merging, and conflict resolution.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular.
• Experience with Web Services and SOAP.
• Basic knowledge of Unified Modeling Language (UML).

Experience

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in software development.
