Role Overview

The Accounts Executive will support accounting operations and compliance activities within an EV fleet business operating on the Uber–Ola aggregator model. The role focuses on maintaining accurate accounting records, processing invoices, ensuring GST and TDS compliance, and supporting day-to-day finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Payables:

Process vendor invoices related to vehicle expenses, charging costs, maintenance, insurance, telematics, and operational services


Maintain vendor records and assist in vendor ledger reconciliations


Support vendor payments and ensure proper documentation for transactions


Verify invoices and ensure alignment with supporting documents and approvals


Assist in maintaining accurate accounting entries for operational expenses

Compliance & Controls:

Ensure GST compliance, including invoice validation and ITC documentation


Handle TDS deductions and compliance for vendor payments


Maintain proper documentation for accounting records and audit requirements


Support finance team in maintaining internal controls for accounting processes

Reporting & Closing:

Assist with monthly closing activities and reconciliation of accounts


Support preparation of MIS reports related to expenses and vendor payments


Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and compliance documentation


Coordinate with internal teams for invoice approvals and finance documentation

Key Skills & Competencies

Basic knowledge of accounting and accounts payable processes


Understanding of GST, TDS, and compliance requirements


Ability to manage transactional accounting tasks with accuracy


Working knowledge of ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Zoho, or similar)


Good coordination skills with vendors and internal teams

Preferred Profile

Candidates with experience in accounting, finance operations, or accounts payable roles


Commerce or Finance background preferred


Comfortable working in fast-paced operational environments
