Engineering Manager
Job Summary
The Engineering Manager will lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers to deliver high-quality technology solutions. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership, and project management skills, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and align with the company’s goals. The Engineering Manager will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, improving processes, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects to ensure they meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and operations, to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Drive process improvements and best practices within the engineering team.
- Manage resource allocation, project prioritization, and risk mitigation.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and innovative team culture aligned with organizational values.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and engineering best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven track record of mentoring and developing engineering talent.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is preferred.

- Experience in hiring and building high-performing engineering teams.
- Exposure to project management tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and modern development frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced startup or technology-driven environment.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Experience managing teams, delivering software products, and working in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
