JOB DISCRIPTION
Position: Assistant Manager – QA
Educational Qualifications: B.Tech / M.Tech in polymer Science.
Experience: Min 7 Years of Experience in Polymer processing industry.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required
specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
2. Knowledge on ASTM, ISO standards for polymer testing’s.
3. Hands on handling testing equipment’s like DSC, TGA, FTIR, UTM, MFI etc.
4. Co-ordination and follow up with external lab for additional testing if required.
5. Identifies and sets quality standards and parameters new products.
6. Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team,
and other appropriate staff.
7. Coordinates and participates in product testing processes.
8. Identifies and analyses issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when
problems recur in multiple products, recommends, and facilitates solutions to these issues.
9. Working with Quality Head to develop new quality control processes and procedures.
10. Participating in regular staff meetings to discuss quality issues and concerns.
11. Serving as a liaison between management and other departments such as PSS (Pre-Sorting
Station), research & development (R&D), production, EHS etc.
12. Ensuring all testing equipment’s are calibrated internally and externally as per defined
frequency.
13. Conducting training sessions on quality control / Testing methods and techniques to ensure
that all quality staff is familiar with best practices and standards throughout the process.
14. Conducting investigations on customer complaints and preparing CAPA reports.
15. Approve the right products or reject defectives (non-conforming).
16. Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis.
17. Review, update, track, and train site personnel.
18. Performs other duties as assigned.
19. Keep employees aligned to foster the culture of safety.
