<div>Banyan Sustainable Waste Management Private Limited.</div> <div>JOB DISCRIPTION</div> <div>Position: Assistant Manager &ndash; QA<br /> Educational Qualifications: B.Tech / M.Tech in polymer Science.<br /> Experience: Min 7 Years of Experience in Polymer processing industry.<br /> Duties/Responsibilities:<br /> 1. Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required<br /> specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.<br /> 2. Knowledge on ASTM, ISO standards for polymer testing&rsquo;s.<br /> 3. Hands on handling testing equipment&rsquo;s like DSC, TGA, FTIR, UTM, MFI etc.<br /> 4. Co-ordination and follow up with external lab for additional testing if required.<br /> 5. Identifies and sets quality standards and parameters new products.<br /> 6. Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team,<br /> and other appropriate staff.<br /> 7. Coordinates and participates in product testing processes.<br /> 8. Identifies and analyses issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when<br /> problems recur in multiple products, recommends, and facilitates solutions to these issues.<br /> 9. Working with Quality Head to develop new quality control processes and procedures.<br /> 10. Participating in regular staff meetings to discuss quality issues and concerns.<br /> 11. Serving as a liaison between management and other departments such as PSS (Pre-Sorting<br /> Station), research &amp;amp; development (R&amp;amp;D), production, EHS etc.<br /> 12. Ensuring all testing equipment&rsquo;s are calibrated internally and externally as per defined<br /> frequency.<br /> 13. Conducting training sessions on quality control / Testing methods and techniques to ensure<br /> that all quality staff is familiar with best practices and standards throughout the process.<br /> 14. Conducting investigations on customer complaints and preparing CAPA reports.<br /> 15. Approve the right products or reject defectives (non-conforming).<br /> 16. Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis.<br /> 17. Review, update, track, and train site personnel.<br /> 18. Performs other duties as assigned.<br /> 19. Keep employees aligned to foster the culture of safety.</div>
