Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of Marketing to lead the brand and growth agenda for our retail jewellery business. This role requires a blend of creative vision, analytical rigor, team leadership, and a deep understanding of customer behaviour in the jewellery segment. The ideal candidate will spearhead omni-channel marketing, drive customer acquisition and retention, and build a differentiated brand experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the annual marketing strategy aligned with business objectives (sales, brand, footfall, digital growth).
  • Drive market expansion strategies across geographies and customer segments.

Brand Management

  • Define and evolve the brand’s identity, tone, and positioning to differentiate in a competitive retail landscape.
  • Oversee ATL, BTL, and TTL marketing campaigns including seasonal, festive, and wedding collections.

Digital & Performance Marketing

  • Lead digital marketing strategy across SEO, SEM, social media, influencer marketing, email, and WhatsApp.
  • Ensure performance-driven campaigns with strong ROI and data-backed optimization.

Retail Marketing & Customer Experience

  • Design in-store branding, promotions, and customer engagement programs.
  • Build campaigns around high-footfall periods (festivals, weddings, product launches).

Customer & CRM Strategy

  • Leverage customer data to develop personalized marketing and loyalty programs.
  • Oversee CRM initiatives to enhance repeat business and increase customer lifetime value (CLV).

PR, Events & Partnerships

  • Lead PR strategy and media engagement to build brand equity.
  • Plan brand activations, trunk shows, collaborations, and luxury partnership tie-ups.

Team Management

  • Build, lead, and mentor an in-house marketing team and manage external agencies/vendors.
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment with Sales, Product, and E-commerce teams.

Budget & Analytics

  • Own and manage the marketing budget efficiently.
  • Track KPIs and prepare monthly dashboards on brand metrics, campaign performance, and ROI.

Qualifications:

  • MBA in Marketing or related field from a reputed institution.
  • 6–10 years of progressive experience in marketing, preferably in retail, fashion, or jewellery.
  • Strong expertise in both offline and digital marketing channels.
  • Experience in leading brand strategy, customer-centric campaigns, and managing large teams.
