Job Description: Operations Manager – Data Collection Project
We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Operations Manager to lead the successful
execution of a client-driven Data Collection Project. This role requires a dynamic professional
with strong problem-solving skills, capable of addressing operational challenges while
maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and quality. You will oversee the data collection
site’s daily operations, ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and act as
a crucial link between project management and the ground-level team.

Key Objectives

Take ownership of daily operations for data collection sessions, ensuring efficiency,
quality, and strict adherence to the client’s SOPs.

Anticipate, identify, and resolve operational challenges swiftly to avoid disruptions to
the project timeline.

Lead and empower operational staff, instilling a solution-oriented mindset while ensuring
team alignment with project goals.

Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, refine processes, and
enhance operational performance.

Supervise subject management, including screening, onboarding, and session
execution, to meet or exceed client expectations.

Maintain a safe, organized, and disturbance-free work environment conducive to
achieving optimal outcomes.
Core Responsibilities

Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve logistical, technical, or
personnel-related issues during operations. Develop contingency plans to ensure
uninterrupted project flow.

Team Leadership: Train, motivate, and supervise staff while fostering a collaborative
and solution-driven culture. Monitor team performance and provide constructive
feedback to improve outcomes.

Session Management: Oversee subject onboarding, including screening and training,
ensuring readiness and compliance with client requirements.

Reporting and Communication: Track daily performance metrics, prepare insightful
reports, and maintain transparent communication with the client and project
management.

Process Optimization: Analyze operational workflows and recommend improvements
to enhance efficiency and address recurring bottlenecks.

Compliance and Documentation: Ensure strict adherence to project protocols,
maintain detailed records, and handle sensitive data securely.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from a tier 1 institute

Previous experience in Operations Management, Project Management, or a related
field with a proven track record of resolving operational challenges and implementing
effective solutions under tight deadlines.

2+ years of experience in operations or a supervisory role, with a focus on
problem-solving and client-oriented projects.

Strong understanding of SOPs and operational workflows in research or data collection
environments.

Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving alignment in high-pressure
scenarios.

Strong technical acumen for equipment setup and basic troubleshooting.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse teams and
clients.

Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays.

Key Duties List from Neuralace:
1. Manage, Update, Improve, Run SOP for self and stakeholders (staff, subjects, security,
supply chain)
2. Do 360 interviews every 2 weeks to understand and debug operational challenges
3. Go through subject and staff logs every day to understand and debug operational issues
and maintain SOP standards
4. Manage dynamically updating data collection schedule keeping the costs, headcount,
and disruptions minimal
5. Being proactive with communication across stakeholders
6. Managing Supply Chains to avoid disruptions
