Job Summary
The Business Development & Brand Intern will support Fit Oyster’s growth by conducting research, assisting with business development initiatives, and providing operational and marketing support. This role is ideal for someone passionate about startups, travel, brand building, and community, offering hands-on experience in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Research companies, executive education programs, and alumni groups for B2B retreat pitches.
- Identify and connect with potential collaborators for apparel, such as wellness studios and women-led brands.
- Compile and maintain comprehensive email databases for outreach and proposals.
- Assist in drafting and refining proposal decks for business development.
- Curate, organize, and structure trip photos and folders for marketing use.
- Brainstorm and suggest engaging ideas for blogs, reels, and stories (no need to write content).
- Support influencer research and contribute campaign ideas.
- Organize Google Drive folders, including photos, testimonials, and videos by trip or event.
- Aid in documentation for retreats, including pre-trip checklists and surveys.
- Conduct light follow-ups via email for leads or inquiries.
Qualifications
- Strong research skills and proficiency in using Google for information gathering.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Interest in startups, travel, and conscious/lifestyle brands.
- Eagerness to learn about brand building, community engagement, and business development.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of digital tools such as Google Drive.
- No minimum educational qualification required, but current students or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Canva for design tasks.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data management.
- Experience using Notion for organization and project management.
- Interest or experience in social media and influencer research.
Experience
- No prior experience required; freshers and students are welcome.
- Any exposure to startups, marketing, event planning, or business development is a plus.
Environment
- Remote work with optional in-person meet-ups if located in the same city as the core team.

- Requires reliable internet access and comfort working with digital communication tools.
Salary
- Stipend: ₹112,000 (details regarding duration or monthly breakdown to be clarified).
