Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our financial products division, specifically focusing on Loan Against Property (LAP) and Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) lending. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise from a leading bank or Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) and have a strong track record in Profit and Loss (P&L) ownership, product innovation, and business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end product strategy and lifecycle for LAP and SME lending.
• Own and drive the P&L for the LAP & SME portfolio, ensuring profitable growth.
• Conduct detailed market research, customer segmentation, and competitor benchmarking to guide product enhancements.
• Collaborate with risk, credit, legal, tech, and operations to develop scalable and compliant financial products.
• Design and refine customer journeys, credit policies, pricing strategies, and underwriting frameworks.
• Build and lead a high-performing product team aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor key performance metrics and continuously optimize product performance.
• Work closely with senior leadership to align product strategy with overall company goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product roles within banks or NBFCs.
• MBA from a Tier 1 B-school is a must.
• Demonstrated success in managing and growing LAP & SME products.
• Strong understanding of customer needs in secured and small business lending segments.
• Proven experience in P&L ownership and driving revenue growth.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Analytical mindset with an ability to make data-driven decisions.
