Job Summary

As a Senior Backend Engineer at SiteRecon, you will be instrumental in building and enhancing our GIS-based web and mobile applications. You will own the development and delivery of features across various interfaces, ensuring that our products meet high standards of performance and security. You will also collaborate with a talented team to drive product success and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve entire code bases, addressing tech debt and enhancing functionality.
• Manage production systems, ensuring security, performance, and quality assurance.
• Lead decision-making processes for future developments at SiteRecon, including tools, processes, and personnel.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional software solutions.

Qualifications

• Graduated in 2019 or before with a relevant degree.
• 4+ years of experience in the industry, excluding any career breaks.
• Proficiency in Django/FastAPI or Spring Boot is a MUST.
• Ability to join within 30 days of receiving the offer letter.
• Experience with GCP, Pub/Sub, Postgres/PostGIS, Redis, GDAL, and Geoserver.

Preferred Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Prior experience with GIS-based applications is a plus.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience is required for this role.
