QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer (Contract) with 3–5 years of hands-on experience to join our team in a hybrid/onsite setting in Bangalore/Ahmedabad. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by developing and maintaining robust automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and Selenium, and familiarity with AI-based testing tools is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automation scripts using Python and Selenium WebDriver.
• Build and maintain robust automation frameworks for both web and API testing.
• Perform REST API testing and integrate automated tests within the CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams following Agile Scrum methodologies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, ensuring that testing processes align with QA methodologies and best practices.
• Explore and potentially integrate AI/ML-powered automation tools to enhance testing efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Extensive experience with Python and Selenium WebDriver.
• Proven ability in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Proficient in REST API testing and integrating testing within CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology.
• Independent, proactive, and quality-focused mindset.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to AI/ML-powered automation tools.
• Experience with additional programming languages or automation tools.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills and familiarity with performance testing tools.

Experience

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in QA automation engineering.
• Demonstrated expertise in using Python and Selenium for automation testing.
• Prior experience working in Agile environments and using CI/CD tools.
