Job Summary
As a Software Development Engineer in Testing for Inventory Systems at lululemon, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that inventory management platforms meet business needs with high quality. Your role will significantly contribute to quality assurance efforts for Inventory, Supply Chain, and Finance initiatives by applying best practices for scalability and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Support quality assurance efforts across a diverse range of cross-functional projects.
- Accurately understand business requirements and define test cases to minimize production defects.
- Drive test automation initiatives for the Inventory Systems Platform.
- Work hands-on with Oracle Retail Suite of Products (RMS, ReSA, RPM, RIB).
- Collaborate with other QA teams (digital, retail, supply chain) to design and execute comprehensive test plans.
- Coordinate with vendor-staffed QA analysts and engineers to facilitate test execution and planning.
- Provide troubleshooting support through analytical reasoning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3+ years in design/Quality Assurance of Oracle Retail Applications (RMS, ReSA, RPM, RIB, RSE services).
- 1+ years of experience in Test Automation.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the Oracle Retail Suite.
- Understanding of Selenium-based test automation frameworks is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Basic understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and web services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure services.
- Additional experience in inventory management systems would be advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years in related fields with a focus on Oracle Retail Applications and test automation.
