Job Summary

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and deepening relationships with key accounts such as banks and national distributors. This role aims to drive sales and increase product penetration through account-specific strategies while ensuring compliance and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Manage and strengthen relationships with key accounts (banks, national distributors, wealth platforms) while developing strategies to increase wallet share and product penetration.
  • Sales & Business Development: Drive the sales of Mutual Funds and Alternate Investment Funds (AIFs) across assigned accounts and achieve assets under management (AUM) growth through focused engagement and cross-selling.
  • Partner Enablement & Training: Conduct regular product training, investment huddles, and knowledge sessions for partner teams while addressing objections and providing solutions to enhance partner confidence and sales effectiveness.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product, marketing, and operations) to share new product ideas and branding initiatives while monitoring competitor activity and market trends to identify new opportunities.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate Management Information System (MIS) and sales reports, ensuring all activities comply with Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) regulations and internal policies.
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders while being willing to travel for client meetings and partner engagements.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Certification: NISM VA certification is a must.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of total experience, with at least 5 years in managing organized accounts within the asset management or financial services industry.
  • Sales Track Record: Proven track record in driving sales through banks, wealth managers, or national distributors.
