Job Summary

The Investment Specialist serves as an enabler for sales, responsible for narrating markets, portfolios, and funds. This role emphasizes the customization of narratives tailored to various client hierarchies, enhancing client engagement with both B2B (Business to Business) and B2C (Business to Consumer) clients. Additionally, the specialist will curate narratives that align with a layered risk appetite across multiple asset classes, aiming to generate market share with specific financial targets.

Responsibilities

  • Narrate markets, portfolios, and funds effectively to clients while focusing on customization based on client hierarchy.
  • Curate tailored narratives that consider clients' risk appetite across diverse asset classes.
  • Generate market share with a focus on achieving over INR 200 crore in Industry Assets Under Management (AUM) while improving the current market share of SBI FML, which is less than 1%.
  • Collaborate with the regional sales team, providing insights about respective markets, risk appetite, and potential for business growth.
  • Work closely with product teams to develop narratives that reflect the unique characteristics of regional markets.
  • Navigate solutions using a portfolio approach that combines discussions on markets, businesses, and liquidity.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in Tier II regions and over 10 years in Tier I regions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Track record of working with multiple Asset Management Companies (AMCs) and familiarity with various investment channels (Wealth, Independent Financial Advisors (IFA), Non-Direct, Institutional).
  • Skills:
    • Strong expertise in communication and visualization.
    • Proven ability to create and sustain B2B and B2C relationships.
    • Ability to ideate, implement, and execute investment views across various platforms.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Expanded network within the financial and investment sectors.
  • Proficiency in portfolio management and risk assessment.

Experience

  • At least 8 years of work experience in Tier II regions.
  • Over 10 years of experience in Tier I regions.
  • Experience covering at least two of the following channels: Wealth, IFA, Non-Direct (ND), Institutional/Direct.
