Job Summary

The FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the company's financial health through meticulous planning, analysis, and reporting. The role involves preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial models, analyzing business performance, and providing actionable insights to aid strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and experience working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans aligned with company objectives.
• Perform monthly variance analysis comparing actuals against budgets and forecasts, providing actionable insights to management.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions, investment evaluations, and scenario planning.
• Analyze revenue, costs, margins, and profitability across various business units.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and MIS reports for leadership review.
• Support month-end closing activities from an FP&A perspective, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Partner with business stakeholders to track performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor key financial metrics such as EBITDA, gross margin, and working capital.
• Support strategic initiatives, business cases, and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; a Master’s degree or professional certifications like CFA, CPA, or CMA is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including financial modeling, pivot tables, macros)
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint for creating presentations
  • Experience with financial modeling and data analysis
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Experience

• Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in financial planning, analysis, or related roles
• Experience supporting financial decision-making in a corporate setting
