Oracle Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

The Oracle Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying robust private and public cloud solutions with a focus on Oracle Cloud environments. This role involves supporting and implementing enterprise-grade Oracle Cloud networking, hybrid environments, virtualization, and identity solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, significant hands-on experience, and the ability to deliver resilient cloud architectures that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

6+ years’ deep technical experience in designing, building, and deploying private or public cloud solutions, storage, virtualization, and identity.
Support and implementation of Oracle Cloud  networking for enterprise environments
Support and build of a hybrid environments and resilient Oracle Cloud cloud solutions
Proven skills and excellent understanding of Oracle Cloud, AD, Virtual networks, Express Routes, Direct Connect, Load Balancers, ADFS, Windows server OS and all adjacent services like Active directory, DNS, DHCP, Certificate Authority, IIS and etc.
 Mandatory certification in Oracle Cloud or Windows Server administration
Terraform scripting is a requirement
Knowledge in Citrix desktop virtualisation technologies and Office365 will be considered as a strong advantage
Certification in other platform or Cloud technologies will be considered as a strong advantage
 Ability to take ownership of a technical solution and work with several stakeholders (internal and external) to deliver a design and implementation approach.
Ability to articulate design topics, using tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, and any modelling tools utilising ArchiMate.
Certification in frameworks such as ITIL v4, ISO 27001 would be an advantage

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 6 years’ experience in designing, building, and deploying cloud solutions (private/public).
• Mandatory certification in Oracle Cloud or Windows Server administration.
• Strong technical expertise in Oracle Cloud, AD (Active Directory), Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, Load Balancers, ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services), Windows Server OS, and related services.
• Proficiency in Terraform scripting.
• Excellent understanding of enterprise networking, virtualization, and storage.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate and document technical design concepts.
• Proven ability to take ownership of technical solutions and work cross-functionally with stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Citrix desktop virtualization technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Office365.
• Certification in other cloud or platform technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with frameworks such as ITIL v4 and ISO 27001.
• Experience using modelling tools like ArchiMate.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering, with deep hands-on skills in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and enterprise cloud networking.
• Experience in hybrid cloud environments and supporting large-scale enterprise IT deployments.

Environment

• Work location: Pune, Bangalore, Noida, Mumbai, Hyderabad (on-site or hybrid, depending on project/client requirements).
• Contractual position.
• May require extended hours and on-call availability for critical support and deployments.
• Collaborative work culture involving cross-functional teams and client interaction.
