Job Description
<div>Product @ Meraki Labs </div>
<div>TL;DR<br />
If you are a product enthusiast who wants to build and fund game-changing companies. </div>
<div>Location: <br />
Bengaluru, Karnataka </div>
<div>What we do:<br />
We are building one of India’s first venture studio focussed on deep tech. </div>
<div>We don’t just build thesis and fund early-stage companies, but also prototype and incubate startups in-house. We want to use deep tech innovations and go after meaningful, hard-to-solve problems. We are driven by radical impact, not just incremental improvements - we believe this would come from ideas that truly scale to the next billion, or build frontier technologies in India. </div>
<div>Our areas of interest include:<br />
1. Enterprise AI solutions<br />
2. Healthcare and Biotech<br />
3. Space tech<br />
4. Clean energy<br />
5. Quantum computing</div>
<div>The team:<br />
Our founder, Mukesh Bansal, is a serial entrepreneur, starting with Myntra and then founding Cure.fit. He is an active investor in the Indian ecosystem with early investments in Groww and Skyroot</div>
<div>Our investors and mentors include some of the most marquee venture capital investors globally, along with successful entrepreneurs and operators in the Indian ecosystem.</div>
<div>What you would do:<br />
● Build detailed investment/incubation thesis: You would conduct in depth industry primers and understand the landscape along with potential opportunities for disruption<br />
● Generate and validate customer insights: You will have to get your hands dirty, gathering customer insights and driving on-ground visits to be able to validate the investment thesis <br />
● Incubate new ideas: You would explore and tinker with new ideas, internally or with future entrepreneurs who don’t have a specific idea yet, and go through the 0-to-1 journey of building companies (surely, with some failed attempts!). <br />
● Build prototypes of ideas: You’ll work on developing prototypes for new ideas by collaborating with internal teams and entrepreneurs. This includes translating concepts into tangible products and quickly testing MVPs to assess feasibility.<br />
● Achieve product-market fit: You’ll work on achieving product market fit through constant experimentation—testing hypotheses, building MVPs, and creating feedback loops to continuously iterate using user input and market signals to guide improvements.</div>
<div>Also, we are a start-up ourselves. From our strategy and branding to rituals and internal team building, there is a lot to be done on our journey to become a leading incubator of great companies.</div>
<div>What we are looking for:<br />
● Experience: 3-5 years of experience in product management. Experience in building 0-to-1 products is a strong plus.<br />
● Demonstrated problem-solving skills: You should have a proven ability to tackle challenging, undefined problems, regardless of brand or title.<br />
● Ability to handle tech, design, and business aspects: You can seamlessly balance technical, design, and business aspects to take a product from 0 to 100. <br />
● Growth mindset: You have a passion for learning about diverse topics, enjoy testing new ideas, and continuously seek feedback and learning opportunities.<br />
● Self-drive: You’ll be working in a highly self-managed team, co-creating objectives and key results (OKRs) rather than relying on traditional management. You enjoy taking ownership of ambiguous projects and pushing them forward.</div>
<div><br />
We might not be the right match, if:<br />
- You thrive in structure - you value clear scope of work and deliverables, predictability, and top-down management. <br />
- You enjoy strategy but not execution - you don’t want to pick up the operational work of speaking with customers, finding and onboarding suppliers, writing ad copies, and building MVPs. </div>
<div>If this sounds exciting, we can’t wait to talk to you and discuss this further. <br />
