Performance Marketing Specialist
Job Summary
The Performance Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing paid acquisition campaigns across multiple digital platforms, primarily Meta and Google Ads. The role involves developing strategic campaign plans aligned with business objectives, managing budgets, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive high-quality leads and maximize return on ad spend (ROAS). The incumbent will play a key role in scaling successful campaigns, reducing costs, and continuously improving conversion rates through data-driven decision-making and creative testing.
Responsibilities
- Own paid acquisition campaigns across Meta and Google Ads, including Search, YouTube, and Display, while evaluating other paid channels based on audience fit and results.
- Build campaign plans aligned with business priorities, customer segments, markets, and sales funnel stages, with clear objectives and measurable outcomes.
- Plan and manage campaign budgets, including pacing, bids, and channel allocation; scale effective campaigns and optimize or reduce spend on underperforming activities.
- Track key performance metrics such as cost per lead (CPL), customer acquisition cost (CAC), qualified-lead cost, and lead-to-sale conversion, measuring ROAS where revenue attribution is reliable.
- Manage campaign setup, including keyword research, audience segmentation, exclusions, remarketing, and ongoing optimization across paid platforms.
- Conduct structured A/B testing on creative assets, messaging, audiences, landing pages, and forms to enhance conversion rates and lead quality.
- Collaborate with Brand and Creative teams to develop campaign assets, refresh creatives, and translate performance insights into clear creative briefs.
- Partner with Sales to define qualified leads, review follow-up and conversion data, and incorporate feedback to refine targeting and campaign strategies.
- Set up and maintain measurement systems using GA4, Google Tag Manager, advertising pixels, conversion events, and CRM integrations in partnership with relevant teams.
- Monitor funnel drop-offs and improve landing pages and lead journeys through conversion rate optimization (CRO), working closely with website and product teams.
- Build weekly and monthly dashboards covering spend, leads, lead quality, conversion, and sales outcomes; analyze results and recommend next steps.
- Manage agencies, freelancers, and platform partners with clear briefs, performance reviews, and accountability for results.
- Test new acquisition opportunities, monitor platform changes, and apply relevant learnings while ensuring tracking accuracy and platform compliance.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in performance marketing or paid digital acquisition with hands-on ownership of campaigns, budgets, and measurable business outcomes.
- Strong practical experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads, including campaign structure, targeting, bidding, budget management, and optimization.
- Proven track record of scaling qualified leads, improving conversion rates, and reducing acquisition costs, supported by clear examples and performance metrics.
- Working knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, advertising pixels, attribution, and CRM or marketing automation tools.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheets and dashboards; capable of diagnosing performance issues and translating data into actionable campaign decisions.
- Experience in planning and evaluating creative, audience, and landing-page tests, with an understanding of CRO and the full acquisition funnel.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work closely with Sales, Brand, Creative, Product, and external partners, translating business goals into clear campaign briefs
