Role Overview<br />
The SEO Executive plays a central role in executing and maintaining SEO initiatives across multiple client projects at Indian Marketers.<br />
Working closely with the SEO Lead and cross-functional teams (content, tech, and design), this role ensures on-page accuracy, technical compliance, and consistent delivery of SEO tasks across fast-moving campaigns.<br />
It requires strong execution discipline, analytical thinking, and the ability to adapt to diverse industries and platform types—from automated stock data pages to long-form editorial blogs.<br />
Key Objectives<br />
• Execute the SEO strategies and task structures defined by the SEO Lead.<br />
• Manage daily SEO operations across multiple clients, ensuring all deliverables meet technical and editorial standards.<br />
• Support large-scale SEO automation workflows, page QA processes, and content optimisation pipelines.<br />
• Identify on-ground SEO gaps and highlight insights or quick wins that can improve organic visibility.<br />
• Maintain alignment between keyword data, live URLs, and analytics dashboards across all client projects.<br />
Core Responsibilities<br />
1. On-Page SEO Execution<br />
• Optimise page-level elements (titles, meta tags, H1s, internal linking, structured data).<br />
• Review content uploads on WordPress or CMS dashboards to ensure SEO readiness.<br />
• Audit legacy pages for optimisation opportunities and coordinate updates.<br />
• Implement interlinking logic, schema blocks, and keyword integration per approved frameworks.<br />
2. Technical SEO Support<br />
• Conduct regular Screaming Frog / Sitebulb crawls and report crawl health issues.<br />
• Track and validate robots.txt, canonicalisation, XML sitemaps, and page indexation.<br />
• Work with developers to fix crawlability, Core Web Vitals, and redirection issues.<br />
• Participate in pre-launch SEO QA during site builds, redesigns, or migrations.<br />
3. Keyword Research & Content Alignment<br />
• Conduct SERP-led keyword research, topic clustering, and competitor benchmarking.<br />
• Maintain keyword-to-URL mapping sheets and update them with live content data.<br />
• Support writers with keyword context, meta information, and search intent validation.<br />
• Create supporting keyword lists for internal linking, FAQs, and schema enhancements.<br />
4. Analytics & Reporting<br />
• Update ranking and traffic dashboards weekly for all assigned projects.<br />
• Track key performance metrics: indexation, CTR, impressions, traffic trendlines.<br />
• Support monthly client reports with key highlights, learnings, and data exports.<br />
• Log recurring SEO issues, observations, and fixes in internal documentation systems (Notion / Sheets).<br />
5. Off-Page Coordination<br />
• Assist in link-building submissions, outreach documentation, and backlink audits.<br />
• Maintain link tracking sheets with source, anchor, and quality score references.<br />
• Monitor toxic links and flag disavow or replacement opportunities.<br />

• 100% accuracy in on-page optimisation and meta implementation.<br />
• Weekly crawl health reports with prioritised fixes.<br />
• Monthly SEO dashboard with traffic and ranking performance.<br />
• Updated keyword and interlinking matrices for all live projects.<br />
• Compliance with internal pre-publishing and post-publishing SEO QA checklists.<br />

Skill Requirements<br />
• 2–3 years of hands-on SEO experience in agency or multi-project environments.<br />
• Strong command over on-page, keyword research, and technical fundamentals.<br />
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO toolsets.<br />
• Ability to handle large data sets, Sheets, and reporting frameworks.<br />
• Excellent communication, time management, and accuracy under volume.<br />
