Job Summary

The Assistant Finance Manager - Bills Receivable will play a crucial role in managing accounts receivable, ensuring accurate financial reconciliation, and maintaining effective credit control. This position contributes to the overall financial health of the organization by ensuring timely revenue recognition and efficient processing of financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Perform revenue reconciliation to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Post bank and sales entries in the ERP system.
• Monitor and track Return to Origin (RTO) and Delivery to Origin (DTO) ageing.
• Raise and claim debit notes for lost, delayed, or damaged shipments from the logistics partner.
• Verify logistics invoices against agreed terms.
• Reconcile Cash on Delivery (COD) and prepaid charges.
• Conduct store-wise receivable reconciliation.
• Manage chargeback reconciliation and documentation.
• Implement credit control measures to minimize financial risk.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Master of Business Administration (MBA), or CA Intermediate.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in finance or accounting roles.
• Proficient in financial accounting and reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain finance.

Experience

• A minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in financial management or related roles.
