QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and maintain robust automation solutions. This role focuses on using Python and Selenium WebDriver to automate testing processes, ensuring high quality and accelerated delivery of software products through continuous integration and testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites using Python and Selenium WebDriver.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks to support regression and functional testing.
- Integrate REST API testing into automation workflows along with CI/CD processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and QA engineers, to ensure streamlined testing within an Agile Scrum environment.
- Proactively identify, report, and troubleshoot issues to improve the overall quality of software products.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with Python and Selenium WebDriver.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in REST API testing and integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an independent, proactive, and quality-focused approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to AI/ML-powered automation tools to enhance testing capabilities.
- Additional certifications or coursework in automation testing or software quality assurance.
Experience
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in QA automation with a strong focus on Python and Selenium-based testing.
