Job Summary

The Sr. Manager – Shared Services at CashFlo will oversee the accuracy and efficiency of finance workflows powered by AI automation, specifically focusing on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GST processing, and payments. The role involves managing a team responsible for auditing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with client policies, thereby contributing to the company's goal of building India’s largest AI-powered finance automation platform.

Responsibilities

  • Review and resolve low-confidence calls, discrepancies, and exceptions flagged by CashFlo’s AI agents across AP, AR, GST, and payments workflows.
  • Determine the root cause of each flagged exception and apply the correct accounting treatment.
  • Lead and manage a team of executives conducting invoice audits and discrepancy identification.
  • Review escalated and complex cases surfaced by the team, making final decisions on resolution.
  • Feed resolved cases back into the system to help train and continuously improve the AI platform.
  • Engage in client interactions to understand their finance policies in detail and recommend changes aligned with industry best practices.
  • Ensure invoices and related financial data are processed accurately, with complete exception handling and resolution.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) — mandatory, with the ability to judge complex accounting scenarios and determine correct treatment.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in F&A shared services or outsourcing.
  • Prior experience as an Account Manager (client servicing, not sales/business development) for at least one large Indian client with a turnover exceeding Rs 500 crore.
  • Proven leadership experience managing a team of 5 or more people in exception handling or shared services setup.
  • Strong first-principles reasoning ability to structure and analyze complex accounting and discrepancy scenarios.
  • Comfortable working in an early-stage, fast-paced, and unstructured environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AI or automation platforms in finance processes.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technology and process improvements.
  • Knowledge of Indian tax regulations, especially GST.

Experience

  • 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting shared services or outsourcing environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and handling complex financial discrepancies.
  • Experience working with large clients with significant turnovers (> Rs 500 crore).
