Senior software engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior software engineer with strong expertise in React and a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development. This role is based in Bangalore and offers a competitive package in the range of 20-25L. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable web applications, ensuring high-quality code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the product forward.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using React.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and technical issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain code quality by participating in code reviews and adhering to industry best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Familiarity with front-end development tools and libraries.
• Good understanding of software design principles, version control systems (like Git), and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelors in Computer Science (B.Tech, BSc) or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional frameworks or libraries such as Redux, Next.js, or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with RESTful API integration and asynchronous request handling.
• Experience in testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and lead small teams.
