Job Summary

The Python Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining API services while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance application capabilities and provide robust solutions. This role is crucial for improving the efficiency and performance of existing systems and contributing to overall organizational goals related to software development and cloud computing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications and APIs using FastAPI and Django frameworks.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and debug complex issues effectively.
• Analyze application logs to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Utilize web scraping tools like Selenium and BeautifulSoup to gather and process data from web sources.
• Stay updated with new technologies and methodologies, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in Python API and RESTful services development using FastAPI or Django.
  • 5+ years of experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
  • Familiarity with web scraping techniques and libraries (Selenium, BeautifulSoup).
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries.
  • Basic knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and cloud computing concepts.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on debugging.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within team environments.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools.
• Experience in developing scalable and maintainable web services.

Experience

• A minimum of 7 years in software development with a strong focus on Python programming and API development.

Environment

• This position is a remote role with a standard daytime work schedule.

Salary

• Estimated salary of 1.7 LPM (Lakh per Month).
