Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Azure Engineer with strong scripting and automation skills to help clean up role assignments and enforce access patterns across multiple Azure subscriptions. The access model has already been defined — the focus is on execution, validation, and scaling it across environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing role assignments using Azure CLI, PowerShell, or Python.
• Identify and remove unused or redundant assignments in compliance with the planned access model.
• Modify and deploy Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Bicep modules, or Terraform scripts for role assignments.
• Use Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) to deploy access changes across subscriptions.
• Validate access configurations across services such as Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Databricks.
• Provide ongoing support for monitoring and remediating access pattern drift.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Azure CLI and scripting (PowerShell or Python).
• Experience managing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and role assignments in Azure.
• Hands-on knowledge of ARM templates or Terraform.
• Experience deploying infrastructure changes using CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfortable with reading and applying Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategies defined by others.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Azure administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Policy and Azure Purview for compliance monitoring.
• Familiarity with managed identities and group-based role assignments.
• Exposure to Landing Zone architectures in Azure.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Azure administration.
