Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Finance Consultant with strong Data Conversion expertise to support our finance transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will collaborate with functional and technical teams to design, develop, validate, and execute data conversion processes from legacy systems into PeopleSoft Financials.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and design data conversion strategies for PeopleSoft Financials modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, AM, PO, Projects, etc.).
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) financial data from legacy applications into PeopleSoft using delivered tools and custom programs.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to validate data mapping, business rules, and reconciliation.
• Develop and maintain conversion scripts, SQL queries, and SQR/PeopleCode programs as required.
• Perform data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Support mock conversions, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot and resolve conversion-related issues in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
• Document conversion processes, mapping specifications, and reconciliation procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in PeopleSoft Financials (9.1/9.2 preferred) with expertise in data conversion/migration.
• Hands-on knowledge of PeopleTools, SQR, SQL, PeopleCode, Application Engine, and Integration Broker.
• Experience with ETL processes and tools for large data migration.
• Strong knowledge of finance business processes (GL, AP, AR, AM, PO, Projects, etc.).
• Experience in data reconciliation, validation, and reporting.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Educational qualifications: Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional financial modules or reporting tools.
• Familiarity with cloud-based financial systems.
• Knowledge of change management processes.

Experience

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in finance data conversion and PeopleSoft Financials.

Environment

• Employment is contract-based, and the location can be specified as remote or onsite depending on organizational needs.
