Job Responsibilities:

Tax Advisory and Planning for Individuals and Families

• Provide expert tax advice and planning strategies for clients involved in estate planning and fiduciary arrangements.
• Collaborate with attorneys, financial planners, and other professionals to develop integrated tax and wealth transfer plans for clients.
• Advise clients on tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies, including charitable giving, generation-skipping transfers, and asset protection. Corporate Tax Advisory • Provide guidance on company tax matters, including tax planning and compliance for businesses.
• Collaborate with corporate clients, attorneys, and financial advisors to develop tax - efficient strategies for business operations and transactions.
• Analyse corporate financial data and structures to optimize tax outcomes and ensure compliance with applicable corporate tax laws and regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in corporate tax legislation and communicate implications to clients and colleagues, assisting in the implementation of necessary adjustments.

Tax Compliance

• Prepare and review complex individual, trust, estate, and gift tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Stay current with changes in tax legislation and regulations that impact estate planning and fiduciary services and communicate implications to clients and colleagues. Research and Analysis
• Conduct thorough research on tax issues related to estates, trusts, and other fiduciary entities, and propose effective solutions.
• Analyze client financial situations and provide recommendations for optimizing tax outcomes within legal parameters. Client Relationship Management • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their tax concerns and objectives with professionalism and discretion.
• Assist in resolving tax controversies and audits related to estate and trust tax matters. Team Collaboration
• Work closely with internal teams including legal advisors, investment managers, and administrative staff to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
• Support the development of training materials and presentations on tax-related topics for internal stakeholders and clients.

Academic Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance or related fields; additional qualifications such as Company Secretary or Law certification preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 Years of relevant work experience

Knowledge, Competency and Skills requirement:

• Tax Law Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of federal and state tax laws relevant to estates, trusts, gifts, and inheritance.
• Estate Planning: Proficiency in estate planning principles and strategies, including wealth transfer techniques, charitable giving, and generation-skipping transfers.
• Fiduciary Taxation: Knowledge of tax implications and compliance requirements for trusts, estates, and other fiduciary entities.
• Tax Compliance: Ability to prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, trusts, estates, and gifts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Financial Analysis: Skill in analysing financial data to assess tax implications and provide strategic recommendations.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain tax concepts clearly to clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, propose solutions, and address client needs in tax matters.
