AppyWay is hiring an innovative API and AI Specialist to lead initiatives around data extraction, standardisation, and automation. You will be at the forefront of building scalable data solutions that power smart city and mobility infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop APIs for structured and unstructured data extraction.
• Leverage AI/ML models to automate data standardisation and entity recognition.
• Implement scalable pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and enriching data.
• Work with third-party APIs and datasets to integrate multiple data sources seamlessly.
• Collaborate with Product and Data teams to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Stay ahead of trends in NLP, computer vision, and AI-driven automation technologies.

Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in API development, AI, and data engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Python (FastAPI, Flask) and Node.js.
• Expertise in machine learning, NLP, and computer vision.
• Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Airflow, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Familiarity with cloud AI services (e.g., Google Cloud AI, AWS AI Services).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and data interoperability standards.
• Track record of building scalable automation systems.
