QA Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a QA Lead with proven experience in leading QA teams and ensuring high-quality delivery across complex applications. The candidate must have 1–2 years of hands-on experience testing the ServiceNow platform along with strong overall QA expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Lead QA activities for ServiceNow implementations, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Define and execute QA processes, strategies, and standards for ServiceNow projects.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ServiceNow applications and workflows.
  • Drive manual and automated testing, leveraging ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and other tools.
  • Conduct regression, functional, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure defect-free delivery.
  • Track, report, and manage defects using tools like JIRA or ALM.
  • Mentor QA team members and ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Provide test reports, metrics, and recommendations to project leadership.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8–12 years of overall QA experience, with a minimum of 1–2 years in ServiceNow platform testing (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • Strong background in manual and automation testing.
  • Good understanding of API testing (REST/SOAP) and integration testing.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficiency in test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, or qTest.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, ITSM) or QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
  • Experience with Selenium/TestNG or similar automation frameworks.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in QA testing with specific expertise in ServiceNow.
