Job Summary

The Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of networking solutions. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient and secure network operations, contributing to the overall functionality and reliability of the organization’s IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN/SD-WAN infrastructure.
• Manage and troubleshoot telecom Session Border Controllers (SBC).
• Configure and maintain network devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Develop and implement network security protocols, including various VPN technologies.
• Monitor and analyze network performance using various network monitoring tools.
• Automate network processes through scripting in Bash/shell and programming in Perl/Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in networking, with a focus on advanced networking and telecom.
• Proficiency in internet routing protocols: SIP, WEBRTC, TCP/IP, VLAN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS.
• Experience with network operating systems such as Cisco IOS and Junos.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix environments, including DNS and DHCP.
• Knowledge of end-user devices and their interactions within a network.
• Solid understanding of network analysis fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.
