Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with the organization's vision and growth plans.
• Provide financial insights to the Board/CEO to support strategic decision-making.
• Lead long-term financial planning, forecasting, and investment analysis.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

• Oversee annual budgeting and monthly/quarterly forecasting processes.
• Partner with academic and operational departments to manage budgets effectively.
• Monitor variances and implement corrective actions where needed.

Financial Operations & Control

• Supervise day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and cash flow.
• Ensure accurate and timely closure of books and statutory reporting.
• Maintain internal financial controls, processes, and systems.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and audit requirements (e.g., income tax, GST, etc.).
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and government authorities as required.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and mentor the finance team to foster growth, performance, and accountability.
• Build financial capabilities across the organization.

Systems & Technology

• Oversee the optimization of ERP/finance systems.
• Use data and automation to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.

Key Requirements:

- Education: CA / MBA Finance

-  Experience: 12–16 years in finance roles, including at least 5 years in a leadership position. (Prior experience in education Industry is preferred.)

- IPO experience is a must

- Experience working in a ERP Environment (Preferably Oracle Fusion)

- Strong knowledge in IGAAP/, IND AS, Direct and Indirect Taxation.

- Exposure to Analytical tools is preferred

- Skills:
  - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  - Deep understanding of financial regulations and compliance in the education sector
  - Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  - Strategic mindset with hands-on financial management capabilities

Preferred Experience:

- Worked in K-12 schools, higher education institutions, or edtech startups.
- Managed finance for multi-location institutions or franchises.
- Familiarity with Investor Relations, IPO
