Job Summary
The SEO Executive is pivotal in executing and maintaining SEO initiatives across multiple client projects at Indian Marketers. This role works closely with the SEO Lead and cross-functional teams (content, tech, and design) to ensure on-page accuracy, technical compliance, and consistent delivery of SEO tasks across fast-paced campaigns. It necessitates strong execution discipline, analytical thinking, and adaptability to various industries and platform types.
Responsibilities
- Execute the SEO strategies and task structures as defined by the SEO Lead.
- Manage daily SEO operations across multiple clients to ensure all deliverables meet essential technical and editorial standards.
- Support large-scale SEO automation workflows, page quality assurance processes, and content optimization pipelines.
- Identify on-ground SEO gaps and provide insights or quick wins to enhance organic visibility.
- Maintain alignment among keyword data, live URLs, and analytics dashboards across all client projects.
Core Responsibilities

On-Page SEO Execution
- Optimize page-level elements (titles, meta tags, H1s, internal linking, structured data).
- Review content uploads on WordPress or CMS dashboards to ensure SEO readiness.
- Audit legacy pages for optimization opportunities and coordinate necessary updates.
- Implement interlinking logic, schema blocks, and keyword integration per approved frameworks.

Technical SEO Support
- Conduct regular crawls using tools like Screaming Frog or Sitebulb and report on crawl health issues.
- Track and validate robots.txt, canonicalization, XML sitemaps, and page indexation.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve crawlability, Core Web Vitals, and redirection issues.
- Participate in pre-launch SEO quality assurance during site builds, redesigns, or migrations.

Keyword Research & Content Alignment
- Conduct SERP-led keyword research, topic clustering, and competitor benchmarking.
- Maintain keyword-to-URL mapping sheets and update them with live content data.
- Support writers with keyword context, meta information, and search intent validation.
- Create supporting keyword lists for internal linking, FAQs, and schema enhancements.

Analytics & Reporting
- Update ranking and traffic dashboards weekly for all assigned projects.
- Track key performance metrics including indexation, click-through rates (CTR), impressions, and traffic trends.
- Assist in generating monthly client reports highlighting key insights and data exports.
- Log recurring SEO issues, observations, and resolutions in internal documentation systems (Notion / Sheets).

Off-Page Coordination
- Aid in link-building submissions, outreach documentation, and backlink audits.
- Maintain link tracking sheets with source, anchor, and quality score references.
- Monitor toxic links and identify potential opportunities for disavowal or replacement.
Key Deliverables
- Achieve 100% accuracy in on-page optimization and meta implementation.
- Produce weekly crawl health reports with prioritized fixes.
- Deliver monthly SEO dashboards reflecting traffic and ranking performance.
- Maintain updated keyword and interlinking matrices for all live projects.
- Ensure compliance with internal pre-publishing and post-publishing SEO quality assurance checklists.

Qualifications
- 2–3 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in agency or multi-project environments.
- Strong command of on-page, keyword research, and technical SEO fundamentals.
- Familiar with Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO toolsets.
- Competent in managing large datasets and reporting frameworks through spreadsheets.
- Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail skills under high-volume scenarios.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with various CMS platforms.
- Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS for on-page optimizations.
- Familiarity with local SEO strategies and execution.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant SEO experience, with a focus on agency work or multi-client project management.
