We have leveraged<br /> this to build a product development process that is 5X faster than incumbent brands in the category.<br /> The Role<br /> The Sales Analyst is an active participant in the sales and logistics processes required to service the<br /> account(s) within their ownership. This position regularly accesses retailer portals, conducts<br /> POS/inventory analysis and forecasting/demand planning, and reviews and reports relevant key<br /> metrics. The Sales Analyst role aims to bolster and assist regional Sales teams by generating<br /> insightful reports that support sales initiatives. This position involves offering key insights into sales<br /> trends across essential items and categories. Additionally, the role entails providing cross-functional<br /> support in collaboration with Marketing, Finance, and Operations.<br /> Some key responsibilities are as follows:</div> <div>&bull; Collect, maintain, analyze, and deliver accurate, timely and professional appearing weekly<br /> departmental point-of-sale reports for designated areas of responsibility on regular cycles<br /> (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) as appropriate.<br /> &bull; Evaluate and report customer, retailer channel and market performance data to increase<br /> sales productivity, direct marketing initiatives, support forecast process and assist in<br /> business planning.<br /> &bull; Produce insightful, actionable, and presentable Ad-Hoc reports accurately and for timely<br /> distribution to both internal and external customers. Respond quickly to ad-hoc requests<br /> with short notice and deadlines.<br /> &bull; Utilize all available data to stay ahead of trends, gauge product demand, report findings and<br /> validate customer forecast data. Provide feedback and dialogue to align forecasts when<br /> discrepancies are found.</div> <div>&bull; Develop productive working relationships with key major retailer contacts, including<br /> replenishment, forecasting and buyer counterparts when relevant at designated account(s)<br /> to align on sales and promotional forecasts and supply chain initiatives.<br /> &bull; Collaborate with Sales Team and Supply Chain to create item level forecasts and support<br /> internal S&amp;OP processes.<br /> &bull; Manage inventory levels to achieve customer in-stock and On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) goals<br /> without driving excess inventory.<br /> &bull; Analyze product categories, changing assortments, price points, location, active and<br /> discontinued items, store volume groups, retail comp stores vs. total, customer behavior or<br /> placement driven trend changes, etc. to capture and report relevant business insights.<br /> &bull; Actively participate and support the line review process.<br /> &bull; Monitor sell-through velocities and inventories by retail customer and work with regional<br /> sales managers to ensure adequate corporate and retail inventory to support consumer<br /> demand and minimize lost sales<br /> &bull; Life cycle strategy<br /> o New release strategy<br /> o Recommend price changes to catalog products based on product lifecycle,<br /> competitive products and forecasted profitability</div> <div>&bull; Perform competitive analysis across manufacturers, brands, and package types, identifying<br /> trends, opportunities, and challenges crucial to core business areas.<br /> &bull; Support sales team with revenue/profitability tracker for quotas for field team<br /> &bull; Monthly business review for retailers<br /> &bull; Perform ROI analysis on channel marketing activities<br /> &bull; Manage channel marketing commitments<br /> &bull; Create promotional analysis to support Regional Business Managers&#39; promotional decisions.<br /> &bull; Evaluates MD/Return liability due to POG strategies and advises on rundown strategies<br /> &bull; Manage pricing model and run analysis on new account pricing<br /> &bull; Develop competitive grid for each new product that includes features, pricing, what is in the<br /> box, graphics<br /> &bull; Manage store/item level data to identify consumer and geographic trends.<br /> &bull; Provides insights on sales impact due to POG versioning/ distribution changes /<br /> merchandising elements<br /> &bull; Evaluates effectiveness of localization / test door projects / lost doors market transference</div> <div>You&rsquo;re a good fit if you:<br /> &bull; Are a self starter and interested in a role with cross-functional exposure<br /> &bull; Have high energy and a bias for action<br /> &bull; Have a strong analytic skill set with the ability to provide actionable recommendations based<br /> on key performance indicators.<br /> &bull; Are familiar with using one or more of the following retail reporting portals &ndash;Retail Link,<br /> Target Partners Online, CVS STIBO<br /> &bull; Work well with others; and are able to effectively participate and motivate others working<br /> within a team environment.<br /> &bull; Possess excellent written and oral communication skills; able to present to all levels within<br /> the organization as well as customers.<br /> &bull; Are goal oriented, confident, outgoing, and able to succeed under pressure within a<br /> competitive and fast paced environment.</div>
