PL/SQL Developer

Job Summary

The PL/SQL Developer is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining PL/SQL code in various applications. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and performance of database systems, directly contributing to the organization’s objectives by delivering high-quality code solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance PL/SQL code for various applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze user requirements and implement database solutions.
• Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for improved performance and efficiency.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing PL/SQL code and databases for enhanced functionality.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 8+ years in PL/SQL development and database management.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database concepts and architecture.
• Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures and functions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with database tuning and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Java or Python.
• Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Experience

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in PL/SQL development.

Environment

• Work may be conducted in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, or Pune. Specific office settings are not specified, thus it can be in-office or hybrid as per company policy.
