Salesforce Tester

Job Summary

The Salesforce Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of Salesforce applications through comprehensive testing methodologies. This role will contribute to the overall success of the organization by validating Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing of Salesforce applications, including functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Validate Salesforce configurations, customizations, workflows, and third-party integrations.
• Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure appropriate test coverage.
• Log, track, and manage defects in bug tracking systems like JIRA.
• Conduct performance and security testing of Salesforce applications as required.
• Automate tests using tools such as Selenium, Provar, or other Salesforce-specific testing tools.
• Knowledge of Apptus is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce testing.
• Strong knowledge of End-to-End testing, including functional and regression testing methodologies.
• Proficient in JIRA for defect tracking and management.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium and Provar.
• Experience in validating Salesforce applications and understanding customizations and integration processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge in Apptus is preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Experience with performance and security testing frameworks.

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Salesforce testing, including extensive experience with various testing types and methodologies.

Environment

• This position is remote, allowing for flexibility in work location.
