Job Summary
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will serve as the enterprise execution leader responsible for converting strategy into measurable business outcomes. The COO will oversee the company's operating engine, partnering closely with the Managing Director & CEO to build a high-performing, future-ready organization. This is a Board-facing leadership role with the potential to evolve into the CEO role over time, subject to demonstrated performance and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Enterprise Operations: Lead end-to-end business operations to deliver growth, profitability, productivity, and execution excellence.
- Manufacturing Excellence: Direct all manufacturing operations ensuring safety, quality, productivity, cost-effectiveness, capacity utilization, and asset reliability.
- Supply Chain & Procurement: Own integrated planning, sourcing, procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution to build a resilient and cost-efficient supply chain.
- Customer Fulfillment: Deliver best-in-class order-to-delivery performance, enhancing service levels, dealer experience, and customer responsiveness.
- Transformation & Business Excellence: Lead enterprise transformation initiatives including digital manufacturing, automation, process redesign, and operational governance.
- Leadership: Build a high-performance execution culture anchored in accountability, collaboration, speed, and ownership while developing future operational talent.
Qualifications
- Experience: 20–25 years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 10 years in senior enterprise operations.
- Industry Background: Proven track record in manufacturing and supply chain businesses, preferably in building materials, ceramics, tiles, cement, paints, industrial manufacturing, consumer durables, or related industries.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a reputed institution; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
