Finacle Specialist

Job Summary

The Finacle Specialist will oversee the customization and integration of the Finacle Core Banking product, ensuring seamless enhancements and optimal performance. The candidate will be responsible for understanding Finacle 11 requirements, developing custom solutions, and interfacing with various APIs. By actively collaborating with clients and internal teams, this role aims to maintain high standards in technical quality and process efficiency while upholding industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Finacle 11 requirements and design product enhancements and customizations.
• Develop, implement, and support Finacle customization flows including new custom menus, reports (MRT & Jasper), batch jobs, and product menu customizations.
• Handle Finacle interfacing requirements including custom and product APIs, Connect 24, and Finacle Integrator.
• Write and maintain Finacle scripts, Unix shell scripts, and design reports to support banking operations.
• Collaborate directly with clients to capture requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Uphold coding standards, security practices, and proper documentation in an Agile work environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Postgraduate qualification in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 5 years of product experience with the Finacle Core Banking product (Infosys/Edgeverve).
• Proven experience with Finacle 11 requirements and a strong understanding of Finacle product architecture and customization layers.
• Demonstrated expertise in handling Finacle interfacing requirements including custom and product APIs, Connect 24, and Finacle Integrator.
• Proficient in Oracle technologies including SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Skilled in Finacle scripting, Unix shell scripting, and report designing.
• Strong familiarity with Finacle Core Banking functional knowledge and banking domain terminologies.

Preferred Skills

• Finacle certification from Infosys.
• Experience with Finacle CRM and Admin modules (FINFADM/SSOADM).
• Knowledge of best practices in coding, security, unit testing, and documentation.
• Practical experience with Agile methodology and a collaborative client-facing approach.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of direct experience with Finacle Core Banking product implementations and customizations.
• Demonstrated experience in interacting with clients and handling complex Finacle interfacing requirements.

Environment
