Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Project Manager to join our fast-growing fintech startup at an early stage. This role is pivotal in driving the successful delivery of innovative financial technology solutions. The Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining a high standard of quality. Strong development knowledge is essential for effective collaboration with engineering teams and to drive technical projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for fintech product development, from planning and execution to delivery.
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring effective communication across teams.
• Utilize technical expertise to facilitate problem-solving and decision-making during project execution.
• Prepare project documentation, status reports, and present updates to leadership as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in fintech or technology-driven environments.
• Strong development knowledge with the ability to engage in technical discussions and support engineering teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, startup environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Jira, Trello).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in early-stage startups or fintech companies.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master).
• Familiarity with financial technology products, APIs, and regulations.
• Knowledge of modern programming languages and software development best practices.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and new technologies.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant project management experience, ideally in a technology or fintech setting.
• Hands-on experience working with development teams and understanding technical project requirements.
