IBS Engineering Senior Specialist

Job Summary

The IBS Engineering Senior Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing M365 corporate collaboration environments, ensuring effective administration of Exchange, SharePoint, and related applications. This role contributes to the organization's goals by enhancing communication and collaboration through robust technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Exchange Online, SharePoint, and M365 applications, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Design and implement messaging hygiene and security protocols, including email encryption and spam filtering.
• Oversee mail and SharePoint/Teams/OneDrive migration architectures, ensuring seamless transitions and integrations.
• Utilize PowerShell for scripting and automation tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct tenant-to-tenant migrations and manage migration tools such as ShareGate, AvePoint, or Metalogix.
• Proactively monitor applications and sites using Amadeus tools, performing performance monitoring and vulnerability assessments.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience administering Exchange, SharePoint, and M365 corporate collaboration environments.
• Proficient in M365 Application Stack, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, MS Teams, and Viva tools.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, routing protocols, DNS, and certificate management.
• Experience with security measures such as Data Loss Prevention and authentication protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Azure stack, including tenant setup and resource management.
• Familiarity with basic SQL administration tasks and load balancing concepts.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure PaaS services, including Azure functions and App Services.
• Knowledge of performance monitoring tools and vulnerability assessment techniques.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing M365 environments and related technologies.
