Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our GIFT City Fund Management Entity, responsible for managing approximately USD 1 billion in Assets Under Management (AUM). The CEO will oversee two key strategies: fund of funds and discretionary asset management funds for corporates and UHNWIs. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in fund and asset management, with a proven track record of setting up and managing regulated funds, particularly in the GIFT City or SEBI-regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fund Setup and Management: The incumbent should have experience in establishing and managing at least one of the following funds, including Private Equity, Public Equity, Debt, Distressed Assets, Special Situations, and Real Estate funds, adhering to GIFT City and SEBI regulations.
- Organizational Leadership: Build the organization from the ground up, including the selection and oversight of key team members such as the Chief Investment Officer (CIO), compliance officers, and business development professionals.
- Collaboration with Sister Company: Collaborate with our sister NBFC company on shared functions such as finance, onboarding, HR, technology, marketing, and communications.
- International Presence: Manage the GIFT City master fund's feeder vehicle in the Abu Dhabi Global Market, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Capital Raising: Direct or indirect experience with capital raising activities is desirable, as the CEO will play a pivotal role in securing investments.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Extensive experience in fund and asset management, including a successful track record of setting up and managing regulated funds.
- In-depth knowledge of GIFT City regulations and experience in the GIFT City environment, with a preference for candidates currently serving as a PO or CEO.
- Proven ability to work in a high-speed, high-stress environment, making strategic decisions under pressure.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to build and manage teams effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong network within the financial industry, both locally and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in capital raising for investment funds.
- Familiarity with international financial regulations and cross-border fund management.
- MBA or equivalent qualifications in finance, economics, or a related field.
