Job Summary

The Analytics and Databases Engineer will be responsible for designing, documenting, implementing, and troubleshooting various Azure data services within customer environments. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient consolidation and migration of data using Azure technologies, thereby supporting the organization's data-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data integration and transformation workflows using Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Azure services, including Azure Databricks, Microsoft Purview, and Azure Event Hubs.
• Manage permissions and design principles for Azure SQL Databases, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL DB, and MySQL DB.
• Consolidate and migrate customer data across various Azure services, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and real-time data solutions using Azure Stream Analytics and Azure Analysis Service.
• Demonstrate technical depth in Azure service administration and provide support for Azure SQL Databases and Azure Database Migration Service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Experienced with Azure Databricks, Microsoft Purview, Azure Event Hubs, and Azure Stream Analytics.
  • Knowledgeable in database management with Azure SQL DB, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
  • Familiarity with Azure Redis Cache, Azure Database Migration Service, and Azure Data Studio.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and documentation capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills
