Job Summary
The Credit Risk Analyst is responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of customers, developing and implementing credit policies, managing business relationships, collaborating with various teams, and monitoring credit accounts. Responsibilities

Credit Assessment and Risk Analysis: Evaluate the creditworthiness of customers by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other pertinent information to make informed decisions about credit limits and terms.

Credit Policy Development and Implementation: Develop and implement credit policies and procedures aligned with the company’s financial objectives, establishing guidelines for credit limits, payment terms, and negotiations.

Business Relationship Management: Work closely with ABB’s Collection Team and various Business units to build relationships and resolve credit-related issues through effective communication and negotiation.

Collaboration with Sales and Finance Teams: Collaborate with the sales team to assess potential customers and guide credit terms, while working with the Collection Team to reconcile accounts and manage cash flow.

Conduct Credit Committee Meetings: Organize and prepare for periodic credit committee meetings, ensuring action items are implemented following the meetings.

Credit Monitoring and Collections: Monitor accounts for timely payments, manage the collection process for overdue accounts, including sending reminders and coordinating with the Collection Team as required.

Financial Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on credit-related metrics such as accounts receivable aging, bad debt provisions, and collection efficiency to assist management in decision-making.

Perform Annual Review of All Customers: Conduct annual reviews of all customer accounts to set revised credit limits, risk categories, and credit check rules.
Qualifications

Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
